Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Python Developer to join our team at Laureato Solutions in Northern Virginia. As a Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems utilizing Python. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that align with our clients’ requirements and expectations.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, scalable Python-based applications to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and fellow developers to comprehend project specifications and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to design patterns, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Optimize applications for optimal performance, speed, and scalability.
Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in Python development to enhance our offerings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record as a Python Developer, including expertise in Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.

Experience in database design and management using technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Proficient in version control systems, preferably Git.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
